A typical hydraulic swimplatform installation usually takes ±20 hours or 2-3 days depending on the yard hours the vessel is located in during the installation. Other installations can take longer depending on the accessibility of the vessel's interior and the complications of the electrical components and wire runs. That being said an installation can easily be accomplished in between weekends during your boating season and yes “Your vessel needs to be out of the water whether you are having a thruster, hydraulic swim platform, or both installed”.
70' Viking Swim Platform
Custom Swim Platforms
Here is a small selection of custom swim platforms we have built. There are three photos each of platforms for a 95' Viking, a 75' Azimut, and a 68' Azimut. All three were built from scratch, by hand, without a mold. The only wood in them is the teak decking you see. These platforms are 16-18' long and 4½-5' wide. The Azimuts have a 4" radius along the top edge and both Azimuts have their teak decks recessed in the fiberglass.
